Terms of Use
Last updated: October 17, 2026.
These terms explain how you may use this website. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. This is not a religious discussion platform to vent your beliefs but rather a historical investigation into a photograph of a man who helped shape America. How you feel about that has no bearing on what I am trying to present.
Who runs this site
This site, “The Face of Joseph”, is written and run by Kim Marshall.
What is on the site
The site shares Kim’s research on a photograph of Joseph Smith Jr.: her writing, her comparisons, and the images and videos she uses as evidence. It presents her findings and her opinions.
Copyright and permission
Unless a page says otherwise, the writing, the photographs, and the comparison images on this site are © Kim Marshall or attributed to their owners under fair use. Some images carry a visible watermark. Please do not copy, reproduce, or republish those for commercial purposes. You may, however, use images for research, sharing, and personal use. You are welcome to quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the page you quoted.
Some items belong to other people, such as news reports and other images shown with credit. They remain the property of their owners, and I can’t convey usage rights to you.
To ask permission to use something, please use the contact page.
Links and videos
The site links to other websites and shows videos hosted by YouTube. Those sites are run by other people, and Kim isn’t responsible for what is on them or how they treat your information. Videos load only after you press play.
No guarantees
The site is provided “as is”. Kim works to keep it accurate and available, but can’t promise it will always be correct, complete, or running. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kim isn’t liable for losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.
Changes
Kim may update these terms. The date at the top will show the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
